A dark roasted bean from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala. This coffee is medium bodied, acidic with a smoky flavor. Pungent acidity and a robust, full body. Here at Dean’s Beans, we use high-quality specialty roasted coffee as a vehicle for positive change throughout the coffeelands of Asia, Africa and the Americas. We do this through activism, ecological responsibility and innovative direct development programs with our cooperative partners. We are committed to small, meaningful projects that the community actually wants, and that are sustainable over time. We pay our farmers well over the Fair Trade minimum in addition to funding the development projects we co-design. We are also dedicated to our responsible ecological practices, ensuring that all of our coffees are 100% USDA Certified Organic and shade grown. This supports healthy environments, protects migratory bird habitats, and respects the quality of life of our grower partners in the coffee world. Remember, our organic certification means that our coffee contains no chemicals, no GMOs, no man made preservatives, no fake caffeine, no artificial chemicals, and no mold! Dean’s Beans is the nation’s first 100% Fair Trade, Organic, Kosher and Direct coffee roaster. For 23 years we have pioneered social justice both in the coffeelands and at home. We treat our employees with the same respect we treat our farmers. All employees have 100% healthcare paid in full by the company, profit sharing, and all the great coffee they and their families can drink!
