Huehuetenango (way-way-ten-nang-oh) is in the northeast highlands of Guatemala. With the natural shade from the highland jungles, this area provides the perfect growing environment for some of the most fragrant and aromatic coffees in the world. This is a bright, full-bodied rich coffee that is fruity with flavors cherry, lemon, cinnamon and chocolate.These beans have been washed with water. The objective of washing is to eliminate the chances of off-tastes from overripe or fermented coffee cherries which would destruct the flavor of the bean. The goal is a cleaner cup. Roasted in small batches to a robust medium roast.
